West coast.

On the west coast there are several historical remnants you can visit: dolmen, forts and unfinished walls. The cliffs are impressive and wildlife is abundant.

Aran Islands.

In the Galway bay are three islands that go by the name Aran Islands. We took a ferry over and rent bicycles to explore the biggest one of these islands. This is one of the few places where you can actually hear people speak Irish to one another.

Near the southwest coast of Ireland lie two islands called ‘the Skellig Islands’. They are the habitat and nesting area of various species of birds.

A story about puffins. I visited these birds on Skellig Michael, an Irish island, which once was home to monks. Only a few amount of tourists can go there.
