Utrecht, Central Station – The Netherlands

with No Comments

Utrecht Centraal.

For many years the central railway station of Utrecht underwent major renovations to cope with the almost 60 million travelers per year. Finally in December 2016 they finished this enormous project.

They transformed the old station ‘Centraal’ into a new bright and modern one. Trains, busses and trams all come together at and near this new station. It also has shops on two levels and a lot of places where you can get (junk) food. For Dutch standards this station is massive. It has to be, because it is the most important railway hub in the Netherlands.

Check out our photo album about the city of Portland.

The city of Portland, Oregon, is known for its food trucks and hipster culture. The Horsetail Falls and Portland Zoo are two of the sights we went to.

We also have a blog. On it you’ll find a story called Once the worlds largest church.

Before the St. Peter was built the largest church could be found in Cluny, France. Little is left of this monastery, but it’s still a nice place to visit.
