Paris, Centre Pompidou, inside out – France

with No Comments

Centre Georges Pompidou.

We visited this place during one of our stays in Paris. The Centre Georges Pompidou, known to most as Centre Pompidou, houses a museum for modern art in Paris. It opened its doors in 1977 and was designed by Richard Rogers. The unique feature is that most of the pipes and elevators are on the outside of the building. In her opening days this was unique and it is still an interesting and inspiring place to visit.

We also have a blog. On it you’ll find a story about Hiking near a Royal Palace.

One of my favorite places to hike is near De Lage Vuursche and Castle Drakesteyn. Afterwards there are several pancake restaurants to choose from.
