Antelope Canyon.
This canyon is one of the things you should visit when you’re in Utah. The wind carved out the Navajo Sandstone, creating beautiful red and orange shapes. You need a tour guide to enter this Canyon and the Navajos, who own this part of Utah, provide them. Many tourists want to see Antelope Canyon, so it’s always crowded.
Unfortunately our tour guide was terrible. She did not allow us to use our tripod and also she refused to tell us anything. Her explanation was that to the Navajos Antelope Canyon is a holy site and she did not want to share it with tourists. With this negative attitude we did not understand why she worked as a tour guide in the first place. Nevertheless, we would still recommend visiting this place.

In 1889 Gustave Eiffel built a tower to be exhibited at the World Exhibition in Paris. The initially temporary attraction is now one of Paris’ landmarks.

We also have a blog. On it you’ll find a story about a wonderful chalet in Zeeland, the Netherlands.
In Zeeland there is an excellent chalet you can rent, called Bie Oans Oefje. It’s a great place to relax and a starting point for several daytrips.
