In the South of France lies Nice. This beautiful city attracts many tourists. It has an old center, a beach, great weather and a relaxed atmosphere. However, on 14th June 2016, the most important French national holiday, a truck drove into its busy boulevard. As a result 87 people died and 434 got hurt.
Normaly the boulevard in Nice is a lovely place to be. My wife went there in 2012. Unfortunately she only had one day. During that time she visited the center and the boulevard. It turned out to be especially wonderful in the evening with all its street artists and the annual jazz festival going on.

Check out our album about Skellig Michael in Ireland.
Near the southwest coast of Ireland lie two islands called ‘the Skellig Islands’. They are the habitat and nesting area of various species of birds.
We also have a blog. On it we have a story about a hike at the Ankeveense Plassen.
The Ankeveense Plassen are a great place to go hiking with kids. This area in the Netherlands contains peat-soil. Many animals live in and near the water.
