Fort IJmuiden.
In the harbor of IJmuiden there is an old fort. These days it’s on an island but in the past this fort was situated on a peninsula. It was constructed to protect the harbor of Amsterdam and therefore it had huge guns to attack any threath coming from the sea. The Germans added bunkers to make it part of the Atlantic Wall.
The reason why I picked this album to be my 100th album is because I met my wife 7 years ago on this island.
