Haaksbergen, medieval water mill in the forest – The Netherlands

with No Comments

Haaksbergen.

In the forest of Haaksbergen stands an old water mill. This mill is medieval, but it was destroyed by fire a few times. Every time it has been restored in its old state, the last time in 1987. Because it’s a double mill, you can grind both wheat and oil. You can also walk around in the forest nearby. It is a lovely place to spend a few hours and enjoy the scenery.
