Burg Metternich, castle ruin near the river Moselle – Germany

with No Comments

Burg Metternich.

The Lord of Braunshorn built this medieval castle near the Moselle in the 13th century. As most of the castles near the river Moselle it has been destroyed by the French during the 9-year-war. You can climb the tower and visit the medieval town of Beilstein.

We also have a blog. One of my favorite stories is the one about Narbonne.

I reunited with an old friend in Narbonne, France. We admired the Town Hall, Via Domicia, Cathedral, Canal Robine and Merchant Bridge and ate crêpes.
